Our journey begins in local coffee shops where we collect spent coffee grounds. We partner with cafes to gather these leftovers, ensuring that nothing goes to waste. The coffee grounds are collected in dedicated, sanitized containers to prevent contamination and preserve their rich properties.
Once collected, the coffee grounds are transported to our processing facility where they undergo a drying process. We use a physical drying method involving dry air that carefully reduces the moisture content without compromising the integrity of the coffee’s natural oils and antioxidants. This step is crucial for maintaining the efficacy of the coffee grounds as active ingredients.
After drying, the coffee grounds are finely milled. The milling process is designed to produce a uniform particle size, which enhances the surface area and optimizes the extraction of beneficial compounds in the subsequent steps.
The milled coffee grounds are then subjected to our proprietary extraction process. This stage is where the magic happens. We use a combination of soluble techniques, controlled temperatures, and pressures to efficiently extract the potent antioxidants from the coffee grounds.
